The proposed work includes the installation of two new crosswalks and associated accessible ramps and signage as seen on the proposed plans. The accessible ramps will be cement concrete and utilize granite transition curbing where Pleasant Street is intersected. The granite curbing will require cement concrete on both sides to hold in place. Additionally, two existing rectangular rapid flashing beacons mounted on square sign posts will be required to be removed and relocated as part of this project; each sign is wireless and powered by onboard solar panels. Care shall be taken removing and resetting these signs.
