The City of Taunton, through the Department of Procurement/Board of Assessors (“Owner”), invites sealed proposals to undertake a program to update all real property assessment for FY25, FY26 and FY27 pursuant to the General Laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. The valuation dates for FY25, FY26 and FY27 shall be January 1, 2024, 2025 and 2026. The contractor will provide the City options for the renewal of the contract for an additional two (2) years, for FY27 and FY28.

Sealed Proposals (Price/Non-Price) will be received up until 11:00 A.M. on March 18, 2024 by the City of Taunton Department of Procurement, located at 15 Summer Street, 1st Floor – Treasurer’s Office, Taunton, MA 02780. Late submissions will not be accepted. There must be one (1) original, three (3) copies of the proposal and one (1) electronic copy of the technical proposal in an envelope and one (1) copy in a separate sealed envelope submitted to the attention of Andrew Sukeforth, Director of Procurement, Department of Procurement, 15 Summer Street Taunton, Massachusetts 02780.
The award of the Contract or rejection of all bids will be made within sixty (60) calendar days after the opening of bids and no Proposal may withdraw their proposal within this period of time. Proposals may be withdrawn only if requested in writing previous to the due date of proposals.
All proposals for the project are subject to the provisions of the Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 30B. The City of Taunton reserves the right to waive any minor informalities, to cancel this solicitation, or to reject any and all proposals, in whole or in part, if it is deemed to be in the best interest of the City. The award/contract will be to the most advantageous proposal from a responsible and responsive offeror, taking into consideration price and all other evaluation criteria set forth in this RFP.
