The City of Taunton is soliciting bids for the supply and delivery of sodium chloride.  It is the intention of the Awarding Authority to arrange for a contract for Sodium Chloride. The Department estimates their purchases for a twelve-month (12) period. The estimated amount of tonnage for the City of Taunton is 10,000 tons per year, but the obligations incurred by the acceptance of any bid is limited to the purchase of the Department’s actual requirements. Scheduling and authorization of deliveries will be by purchase order, phone call, facsimile or whatever method the Department decides is in their best interest. The Department will guarantee no minimum quantities. Bidders agree to provide to the Awarding Authority up to 125% of the estimated amount at the bid price.
