The Town of Reading Procurement Office, in conjunction with Reading Police Department, is seeking bids for the purchase of Sig Sauer PRO P320 firearms and related equipment, including trade in's for existing firearms and ammunition.
Sealed bids will be received by the Town Clerk’s Office by March 30, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. EST. All bids must be submitted via mail or in-person delivery to the Town Clerk’s Office, 16 Lowell Street, Reading, MA 01867. Immediately following the deadline for bids, all bids received within the time specified will be publicly opened and read aloud.
Instructions for participants are posted on the Town’s website on the Procurement page. The bid must clearly state on the exterior that it is for IFB #23-28 Purchase of Firearms, attention Procurement Office. Bids received after the above time and date will be rejected. Emailed and/or faxed bids will not be accepted.

The contract will be awarded under the provisions of M.G.L. c. 30B.
The Town of Reading reserves the right to reject any and all bids, or to award or not to award the contract for any reason the Town Manager determines to be in the Town's and/or the public's best interest.
