The Town of Reading is accepting Sealed Bids for REBUILDING AND POINTING MASONRY STONE WALLS AND RELATED WORK Project 23-27.

The work under this contract consists of re-building and pointing masonry stone walls, as required by the Town, located at Memorial Park abutting the Salem Street entrance.

Bid Documents will be available after 9 a.m. on March 30, 2023 https://www.readingma.gov/Bids.aspx .

All bids shall be submitted to the Reading Town Clerk’s Office prior to April 13, 2023 at 2:00 p.m.at the address listed above.

Each Bid shall be submitted in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders and shall be accompanied by a bid security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the amount Bid.

Minimum Wage Rates as determined by the Commissioner of Department of Workforce Development under the provisions of the Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 149, Section 26 to 27D, as amended, apply to this project.

The bidding and award of this Contract will be under the provisions of M.G.L. Chapter 30, Section 39M.

The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality in or to reject any or all Bids if deemed to be in its best interest.
