The Town of Middleborough requests quotations for the replacement of automatic sliding doors at the Middleborough Council on Aging, located at 557 Plymouth Street, Middleborough Massachusetts 02346 in accordance with M.G.L. c. 149. This Project includes the removal and disposal of existing doors, furnishing of new equipment, and the installation of two automatic sliding glass doors.

This contract will be awarded to the responsible contractor offering to perform the contract at the lowest price. Insurance coverage and a 50% payment bond are required at the time of award. Quotes are subject to the provisions of the M.G.L. c. 149 as amended to date. Wages are subject to minimum wage rates as per the Massachusetts Prevailing Wage Law (M.G.L. c 149 §§ 26 – 27H) as amended to date. A prevailing wage schedule will be provided.
The Town of Middleborough reserves the rights to reject any or all quotes, or to accept quotes either in whole or in part, to award contracts by individual items or by lump sum total, or to waive any minor informalities or defects in any quote should it be deemed in the best interest of the Town of Middleborough. Any quote submitted shall be binding for thirty days (30) beyond the date of submission.
