REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS RFQ 23-025

The City of Westfield invites statements of qualifications from interested and qualified firms for Glass and Glazing Filed Sub-Bid Subcontractor categories for the construction of their new $54M, 85,000 Gross SF elementary school. The construction project is scheduled to start April 2023 and be completed for occupancy by the 2024-2025 school year. The RFQ is the first phase of a two-phase procurement process and will be used to prequalify filed sub-bid subcontractors and the general contractors who will be invited to submit bids pursuant to MGL c. 149 §44E as amended by statute 2004 c.193. Qualifications will be evaluated by the evaluation committee comprised of our OPM P3, our Designer Caolo & Bieniek, the CPO, and the School Business Manager. A list of prequalified subcontractors will be provided to all prequalified bidders following the prequalification process. Prequalified glass and glazing filed sub-bid subcontractors only shall be allowed to submit bids.

Sealed statement of qualifications will be received at the City of Westfield, 59 Court Street – Room 101, Westfield, Massachusetts at the times specified below.

The Request for Qualifications (RFQ) will be available February 1, 2023 after 9:00 am through the City of Westfield – Purchasing Room 101, Westfield, MA 01085 Attn: Tammy Tefft. The RFQ will also be available by email (preferred) to t.tefft@cityofwestfield.org
