Amesbury is seeking sealed proposals from qualified firms to provide Grant Management Services to the Board of Health to manage a FY24 grant from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts’ Executive Office of Health and Human Services.
This grant is relative to Shared Public Health services between the municipalities of Amesbury, Georgetown, Groveland, Merrimac, Newbury, Newburyport, Rowley, and West Newbury. This grant will cover the costs of shared services (personnel, supplies, software, training, etc.), based on the results of the Baseline Capacity Assessment for the Amesbury Shared Services Arrangement. Results of this Assessment glean insight into our combined municipal needs in seven subject areas: Administration, Community Sanitation, Disease Control and Prevention, Environmental Protection, Food Protection, Housing, and Tobacco Use Prevention.
