Description:

The Town of Agawam hereby invites sealed bids in accordance with Chapter 30B § 5 to identify a qualified Bidder that can provide the Town with an Inventory Supply and Management System per the attached specifications.

A full bid package with specifications will be available beginning March 11, 2024, 10:00 AM via email to bids@agawam.ma.us

All bids must be received in the Town of Agawam DPW Annex, 1000 Suffield Street, Agawam, MA 01001 on or before March 25, 2024 at 2:30 PM. Late bids will not be accepted. Bids will be publicly opened after submission deadline.

A bidder may correct, modify, or withdraw a bid by written notice received in the Purchasing Department prior to the time and date set for the bid opening. After bid opening, a bidder may not change the price or any other provision of the bid in a manner prejudicial to the interests of the governmental body or fair competition”. MGL, chapter 30B, Section 5.

The submission of a bid will be construed to mean that the bidder is fully informed as to the extent and character of the supplies, materials, or equipment required and a representation that the bidder can furnish the supplies, materials, or equipment satisfactorily in complete compliance with the specifications.

The Town of Agawam reserves the right: (1) to award bids received on the basis of individual items, or groups of items, or on the entire list of items (2) to reject any or all bids, or any part thereof; (3) to waive any informality in the bids; and (4) to accept the bid that is in the best interest of the Town. Award will be made to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder offering the lowest price for the equipment.

Bidding procedures and award of contracts will be in accordance with, Chapter 30B, effective May 1, 1990, plus all applicable Federal, State and Local Laws and regulations.
