The acquisition of sodium chloride will help maintain the Town’s roadways during the snow and ice season. However, the Town reserves the right to order sodium chloride during the contract period, regardless of the season, at the same price contracted through this invitation for bids. It is the goal to have the salt delivered in a timely fashion that allows the Town to keep adequate levels of salt inventory for Public Safety and for emergencies.
