The Town of Shrewsbury’s Parks and Cemetery Maintenance Division is seeking written quotes from qualified contractors to remove and replace twenty (20) headstone foundations at Mountain View Cemetery in spring 2023 as soon as ground conditions allow.

Specifications may be obtained at the Department of Public Works, Parks and Cemetery Maintenance Division, 100 Maple Avenue, Shrewsbury, MA 01545, or on the Town website at www.shrewsburyma.gov/bids .

The contractor shall certify that all employees to be employed at the worksite will have successfully completed a course in construction safety and health approved by the United States Occupational Safety and Health Administration that is at least 10 hours in duration at the time the employee begins work and who shall furnish documentation of successful completion of said course with the first certified payroll report for each employee.

The contractor shall provide a 50% payment bond if the submitted overall price exceeds $25,000.00.

Prevailing Wage is required for this project under Massachusetts General Law.
