The Town of Concord, acting through its Municipal Light Plant, hereby invites bidders to submit sealed bids for supplying overhead and padmount transformers. Sealed bids will be received until 2:00 PM local time on Friday, May 5, 2023, at the Light Plant Office, 1175 Elm Street, PO Box 1029, Concord, Massachusetts 01742-1029 at which time and place said bids will be publicly opened and read. Bids received after the time of announced opening will not be accepted. Please note that overnight delivery services must use the street address; deliveries by United States Postal Service must use the post office box and ensure that delivery is made prior to the 2 PM deadline.
All bids must be sealed and clearly marked on the outside “CMLP Bid #2254 Transformers” in the lower left hand front corner of the bidder’s envelope.
Specifications can be obtained on or after April 14, 2023, at the Concord Municipal Light Plant, 1175 Elm Street, Concord MA 01742, by person, mail, or electronically by contacting Rhonda Buscemi at rbuscemi@concordma.gov

Bid security deposit in the amount of 5 percent of the bid must accompany the bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
The Town of Concord reserves the right to waive irregularities, informalities, and to reject any and all bids as may be deemed to be in the best interest of the Light Plant.
