    REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
    BROCKTON AREA TRANSIT AUTHORITY
    MID-LIFE VEHICLE OVERHAUL PROGRAM

    Proposals will be received by the Brockton Area Transit Authority (BAT) for the mid-life overhaul of four (4), low floor Gillig diesel transit coaches with options for up to two (2) similar vehicles in the base year and options for up to twelve similar vehicles over the following 2 option years.

    The Request for Proposals and technical specifications are available at no cost via e-mail or may be picked up during regular business hours. Requests for copies of documents may be sent to BAT at: jmech@ridebat.com and are available at the BAT Administrative Office, 155 Court St., Brockton, MA 02302. Please include complete contact information with the request.

    Proposals must be received by BAT at the BAT Administrative Office, 155 Court St., Brockton, MA 02302 no later than January 10, 2024 at 2:00PM. A non-mandatory pre-proposal meeting will be held on December 19, 2023 virtually and at the BAT Maintenance Facility at 1442 Main St., Brockton, MA 02301 at 2:00 pm.

    This project is being funded in part with funds from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Department of Transportation and the U.S. DOT, Federal Transit Administration and is subject to the terms and conditions of the grant agreement and the availability of funds. Disadvantaged Business Enterprises and Women Business Enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit proposals in response to the request. Proposals will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, age, gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, religion, creed, ancestry, national origin, disability, veteran’s status (including Vietnam-era veterans), or background.
