Pursuant to Chapter 193 of the Acts of 2004, the Town of Needham through its Permanent Public Building Committee and Town Manager, requests qualifications from General Contractors and trade contractors for the Broadmeadow School RTU Replacement Project, 120 Broad Meadow Rd, Needham MA 02492. The Awarding Authority invites pre-qualifications, pursuant to M. G. L. Chapter 149, Sections 44D1/2 of General Contractors. The General Contractor shall also be DCAMM certified to perform as the HVAC trade subcontractor.

This request for qualifications (RFQ) will be used to pre-qualify General Contractors / HVAC trade contractors who will be invited to submit bids pursuant to Massachusetts General Law Chapter 149 as amended by Chapter 193 of the Acts of 2004. General Bidders must be certified by the Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (DCAMM) as a PRIME CONTRACTOR and in the HVAC category.

The estimated cost of construction is: $4,090,000
