The Massachusetts Convention Center Authority (the "Authority") will receive sealed bids for the Hynes Convention Center Carpet Replacement, located in Boston MA, at the Administrative Offices of the Authority at 415 Summer Street, Boston, Massachusetts 02210, until 12:00 Noon local time on February 08, 2023 , immediately after which, in a designated room, the bids will be opened and read publicly.

This project includes, but is not necessarily limited to, replacing existing carpet locations as shown on the drawings, with owner supplied carpet stock and transition strips, and includes all trades required and all labor, equipment, materials, supervision necessary and incidental to the Work: remove existing carpets and pads down to substrate, remove all adhesive residue; level substrates (grinding or filling), install Owner-Furnished carpet as ‘direct glue down’ method of installation, and owner provided transition strips, as noted in specifications and drawings. The following available dates are reserved for this project: Level 2 Pre-Function Hall C: 8/16 – 8/27/23, and 12/13 – 1/13/24. Level 3 Ballrooms: 6/29 – 7/13/23, and 7/19 – 9/04/23, and 11/15 – 11/25/23. All Level 3: 8/16 – 8/27/23 and 12/13 – 1/17/24. Suite 300: 6/3 – 6/16/23 . Any work outside of this period will be coordinated with and approved by the Authority. A schedule of locations availability will be provided by the Authority.

A pre-bid conference will be held at 10:00 AM. on Wednesday, January 25, 2023 , onsite at 900 Boylston Street, Boston, Massachusetts. Bidders will have an opportunity to visit the site of the work after the pre-bid conference.

Each general bid on this contract must be accompanied by a copy of a Certificate of Eligibility issued by the Massachusetts Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (DCAMM) showing that the bidder has the classification and capacity rating to perform the work required.
