Description:

The City of Framingham, through the Mayor of Framingham Massachusetts, the Awarding Authority invites sealed bids for IFB#8366 Framingham City Hall Exterior Envelope Repairs. The project is for the re-pointing and precast replacement to the exterior envelope of Memorial Building located at 150 Concord Street, Framingham, MA 01702.

DCAMM Certification in the category of Masonry is required to bid on this project

Bid documents can be obtained electronically only through the City of Framingham’s Vendor Registry portal https://vrapp.vendorregistry.com/Vendor/Register/Index/city-of-framingham-ma-vendor-registration on Wednesday, February 14, 2024 after 10:00 A.M. in accordance with Contract Documents prepared by Socotec SE Consulting, LLC

Bids must be submitted electronically through the City’s Vendor Registry system. Bids submitted through any other means, such as mail, email, or hand delivery, will not be accepted and will be rejected by the City as non-responsive.

Bidding procedures shall be in accordance with the provisions of M.G.L. Chapter 149, Section 44A through Section 44J, inclusive, as amended.

To be eligible and responsible for bidding on this project, General Bidders shall submit with their bid a current Certificate of Eligibility for Masonry issued by the Division of Capital Asset Management, DCAM (formerly the Division of Capital Planning and Operations, DCPO), together with an Update Statement

Sealed bids shall be submitted in strict conformance with the bid document and will be submitted electronically through the City of Framingham’s Vendor Registry portal https://vrapp.vendorregistry.com/Vendor/Register/Index/city-of-framingham-ma-vendor-registration no later than Thursday, February 29, 2024, at 10:00 A.M.

The City reserves the right to reject any and all submissions, to waive any minor informalities & technicalities, or to cancel the bid if it were in the public interest to do so.
