The City of Framingham (City), invites sealed bids for the application of pavement markings to City roads at various locations as directed.

Sealed bids shall be submitted electronically in strict conformance with the bid documents through the City of Framingham’s Vendor Registry portal https://vrapp.vendorregistry.com/Vendor/Register/Index/city-of-framingham-ma-vendor-registration until 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday December 6, 2023

MASSACHUSETTS DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION HIGHWAY DIVISION (MASSDOT) PREQUALIFICATION IS REQUIRED TO BID ON THIS PROJECT. THE (MASSDOT) HAS PROVIDED A LIST TO THE FRAMINGHAM PURCHASING DEPARTMENT OF APPROVED ELIGIBLE BIDDERS FOR THIS PROJECT. ONLY THOSE CONTRACTORS ON THIS LIST ARE ELIGIBLE TO SUBMIT AN OFFICIAL BID. ALL OTHERS SHOULD ELECT TO OBTAIN THE INFORMATIONAL COPY.

The awarded contractor shall comply with Mass. Gen. L. Ch. 149, Sec. 26 – 27D, as this contract is subject to Massachusetts Prevailing Wage Rates.

The City reserves the right to reject any and all submissions, to waive any minor informalities and technicalities, or to cancel the bid if it were in the public interest to do so.
