The City of Framingham (“City”) is accepting sealed bids for the fence & backstop improvements. Work is anticipated to include demolition and replacement of three (3) backstops at Walsh/Dunning fields, demolition and replacement of existing chain link fencing of various heights, and demolition and replacement of wooden guide rail at TBD locations throughout the City.
Work under this contract is intended to begin as soon as possible after award, commensurate with appropriate site and weather. Backstop replacement work under this contract is a priority and the City would like that work completed prior to the start of spring sports, if possible. Additional fence and guide rail work will be accomplished on a rolling basis until appropriated funds are expended.

Bids must be submitted electronically through the City’s Vendor Registry system. Bids submitted through any other means, such as mail, email, or hand delivery, will not be accepted and will be rejected by the City as non-responsive.
Bid documents will be available on Wednesday, February 15, 2023 at 10:00 A.M on Vendor Registry. Bids shall be submitted through Vendor Registry and are due on Wednesday, March 1, 2023 at 2:00 P.M.

A non-mandatory Pre-bid meeting will be held on Monday, February 20, 2023 at 10:00 A.M. at Walsh School, 301 Brook St., Framingham, MA 01701.
The City reserves the right to reject any and all submissions, to waive any minor informalities & technicalities, or to cancel the bid if it were in the public interest to do so.
