The City of Framingham (City) invites sealed bids for the rehabilitation of the internal components of the existing Garvey Road Sewer Pumping Station, including selective demolition; the furnishing and installing corrosion-resistant coating for the interior of the structure; replacing the existing sewer pump station cover, pumps, valves, piping, sump pump, heating unit, dehumidifier, and cathodic protection system; and providing continuity of functional pumping service while existing and new pumps are out of service.

Sealed bids shall be submitted electronically in strict conformance with the bid documents through the City of Framingham’s Vendor Registry portal https://vrapp.vendorregistry.com/Vendor/Register/Index/city-of-framingham-ma-vendor-registration until 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, May 18, 2023.

There will be a non-mandatory pre-bid meeting at 11:00 A.M. on May 2, 2023, at the Garvey Road Sewer Pump Station, 43 Garvey Road, Framingham, MA 01702.

The awarded contractor shall comply with Mass. Gen. L. Ch. 149, Sec. 26 – 27D, as this contract is subject to Massachusetts Prevailing Wage Rates. The City reserves the right to reject any and all submissions, to waive any minor informalities and technicalities, or to cancel the bid if it were in the public interest to do so.
