The City of Framingham invites responses to RFQ #8146 Designer Services from qualified design firms to provide professional design and engineering services for improvements to the Waushakum Beach facility. The City seeks a Designer with demonstrated experience engaging with the public and working collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders in a municipal environment to achieve desired outcomes. Qualified firm will provide design and engineering services to accomplish feasibility planning including site assessment, concept design/plans and associated graphics, develop outline specifications, and project budget estimates for construction. The constructed facility is intended to accommodate the widely varied demographic within the City of Framingham, including those with disabilities. The City of Framingham desires a renovated beach facility and amenities of the highest quality with regards to design, construction, and usability. The selected firm will work with City leadership to arrive at a preferred concept plan that informs next steps towards construction of improvements at the facility.

If the question is one that the City believes would materially affect the Purchase Description, Scope of Work or the Evaluation Criteria, an addendum will be issued via Vendor Registry and sent to all bidders on record as having picked up the Proposal.

The City reserves the right to reject any and all submissions, to waive any minor informalities & technicalities, or to cancel the bid if it were in the public interest to do so.
