The Town of Lynnfield Department of Public Works is requesting qualifications from qualified firms through this RFQ to conduct a feasibility study to explore the possible renovation and/or expansion options of the existing town library located at 18 Summer Street, Lynnfield, MA, 01940. The work within this feasibility study shall at a minimum document and identify existing conditions, list deficiencies and how best to improve, look at possible expansion alternatives and how library programing can benefit operations. Create rendering and conceptual plans and cost estimates of some alternatives. This work will include but is not limited to a initial review of any possible structural, site, MEP and asbestos needs that may arise as part of any proposed capital investments. Lastly, it should identify any ADA and Building Code needs associated with any proposed capital project as well. For the sake of this document the term "architect" is intended to mean architectural firm, its staff and all of its sub-consultants. The client will be the Lynnfield Department of Public Works.
