In accordance with MGL c.30B, it is the intention of the Town to retain the services of a Foodservice Equipment and Refrigeration Repair contractor to provide preventative maintenance and on call repair to the Commercial Foodservice and Refrigeration Equipment at six Franklin Public School Buildings and the Town?s Senior Center. This contract has a one year term from July 1, 2024 through June 30, 2025, with two one year town options to renew, subject to annual appropriation.

The successful bidder will have a minimum of three (3) years experience servicing school food service commercial food equipment, including steamers, refrigeration equipment, and dishwashing equipment, and must provide at least three (3) satisfactory references (including names, District name, and telephone numbers). The Contractor must complete a CORI application form for each employee who will come onto school property during the life of the contract. The Franklin Public Schools reserves the right to prohibit anyone who is determined to have a criminal record from entering school property and, in doing so, to disallow them from providing service under this contract. A list of equipment to be maintained and serviced is included in the IFB on the Town website (www.franklinma.gov).
