The City of Quincy, Massachusetts is seeking sealed General Bids for the 1455-1459 Hancock Street Demolition Project until 11:00 a.m. local time Thursday, September 14, 2023, in the offices of the Purchasing Agent, 1305 Hancock St., Quincy, Massachusetts 02169, at which time and place all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. No sub-bids are required for the Project. The Work under this Contract includes, but is not limited to, the demolition of the 2-story 1455 Hancock Street building and 2-story 1459 Hancock Street building, asbestos abatement, removal of regulated hazardous materials, shoring of adjacent buildings & right of way, utility removal, partial foundation demolition and removal, site backfill, and all materials, equipment, and services.
