The Merrimack Valley Planning Commission (MVPC) has assumed the procurement lead for a cooperative road
salt bid on behalf of municipalities within Essex County. Sealed bids are requested by the Commission (MVPC)
from qualified firms for the following communities that are eligible to participate in this bid: Amesbury; Boxford;
Essex, Georgetown; Gloucester, Groveland; Hamilton, Haverhill, Ipswich, Manchester by the Sea, Merrimac;
Middleton, Newbury; Newburyport; North Andover; Rockport, Rowley; Salisbury; Topsfield, Wenham, and
West Newbury, (Municipalities). Envelopes containing sealed bids will be accepted at the Merrimack Valley
Planning Commission, 160 Main Street, Haverhill, Massachusetts 01830 until the time indicated.
