The work consists of construction of a new 2.16 MGD water treatment plant at the Bigelow Road site in an 8,825 s.f. masonry building and construction of a new 1.22 MGD water treatment plant at the Memorial Beach site in a 3,200 s.f. masonry building. The buildings will contain filtration equipment, process piping, storage tanks, pumping equipment, electrical and chemical feed systems. The work also includes replacement of approximately 1,800 linear feet of water main on Bigelow Road.
