The work consists of construction of a new 2.14 MGD PFAS water treatment plant at the John P. Lynn site in a 9,900 s.f. pre-engineered metal building. The work includes demolition of the generator, two aerated water pumps and associated piping, chemical feed system, and blower and aeration tower in the existing aeration building at the John P. Lynn site. The work also consists of construction of a new 1.22 MGD water treatment plant at the Lake Nip site in a 3,000 s.f. pre-engineered metal building and demolition of the existing GAC treatment buildings at the Lake Nip Site. Both buildings will contain filtration equipment, process piping, storage tanks, pumping equipment, electrical and chemical feed systems.
