The Amherst Housing Authority, the Awarding Authority, invites sealed bids for the reroofing of Watson Farms Apartments, 693 Main Street, Amherst, MA 01002, in accordance with the documents prepared by Roy S. Brown Architects. Funding for the project is provided by the 2021 MA CDBG Grant (ME-G-2021-Amherst-00192).
The Project consists of: Replacement of asphalt shingle roofing & flashing.
The work is estimated to cost one hundred sixty thousand dollars ($160,000).
Bidder selection, procedures and contract awards shall be in conformity with M.G.L. Chapter 149 Section 44A-H. Bids are subject to M.G.L. c.149 ss 44A-J & to minimum wage rates as required by M.G.L. c.l49 ss 26 to 27H inclusive, as well as Federal Davis Bacon wage rates according to wage determination included in bidding documents. The higher of the two wage determinations are to be paid.
Bidders must be certified by the Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (DCAMM) in the Prime category of Roofing. Bidders must include a current DCAMM - Prime General Bidder.
Certificate of Eligibility, and a signed DCAMM Prime General Bidder Update Statement.
Bids will be received until 2:00 pm, Friday, December 9, 2022 and publicly opened, forthwith.
This project is being Electronically Bid (E-Bid). All bids shall be submitted online at www.Projectdog.com. Hard copy bids will not be accepted by the Awarding Authority. Bids shall be accompanied by a bid deposit that is not less than five (5%) of the total bid amount, and made payable to the Amherst Housing Authority.
