Brookline Large Water Meter Installation Services includes the furnishing of all labor, materials, equipment and incidentals necessary to install approximately 750 large water meters ranging in size from one and a half inch to four inch water meters with high resolution electronic encoder registers. All water meters have been procured through a separate contract and are currently in stock in Brookline. Installation shall include removing the existing meters, registers, reprogramming of existing AMI modules, confirming a valid meter reading, and furnishing all incidentals required to complete installations. In addition, the Contractor is responsible for replacing approximately 750 AMI Modules in locations throughout Town where a water meter will be replaced.
All inquiries regarding the contract documents should be in writing typed, not handwritten addressed to Weston Sampson Engineers, Inc., 55 Walkers Brook Drive, Reading, MA 01867 Attention CSD, or sent via email to Mahoney.Carolyn at wseinc.com and to be given consideration must be received at least ten working days prior to the date fixed for the opening of bids.
The Instructions to Bidders, Form of General Bid, Agreement, Plans, Specifications, Performance and Payment Bond, and other Contract Documents may be examined at the following Accent Printing, Inc., 99 Chelmsford Road, North Billerica, Massachusetts. Contract Documents may be viewed and downloaded as a PDF file free of charge at www.accentblueprints.com. Copies may be obtained for a fee by completing an order online or by calling 9783628038 for each set. Completed orders may be picked up at the office of Accent Printing located at 99 Chelmsford Road, North Billerica, MA 01862 9783628038, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Copies may also be shipped to prospective bidders for an additional charge to cover handling and mailing fees. All payments for printing and shipping are nonrefundable. For addition to the project plan holders list to guarantee receipt of addenda, it is recommended interested bidders obtain the Contract Documents directly from Accent. Interested bidders will be prompted to register an email address with Accent to access the documents.
