The Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners (MBLC) is seeking to identify an Administrator to provide helpdesk services and server hosting and to manage the Commonwealth Catalog (ComCat) SHAREit interlibrary loan system. Services under this contract relate to continued support of the SHAREit system as provided by Auto-Graphics, Inc. The Administrator will host and provide secure internet connectivity for ComCat servers (currently three servers), including hardware support contracts and operating system software licenses. The Administrator will manage of the web assets on commonwealthcatalog.org, and ongoing helpdesk services for ComCat members. The Administrator will manage reintegration into ComCat for existing participants if they move to a different integrated library system, bring in approximately one system per year through the course of the contract, and provide training for new library systems. The Administrator will convene ComCat liaisons meetings, provides usage statistics, and manages software updates and bug identification and reporting on the SHAREit software. The Administrator represents Massachusetts to the SHAREit community. The Administrator communicates regularly with Auto-Graphics (e.g., monthly) and MBLC about software issues and development directions and participates in the SHAREit User Group.
