Onset Fire District Prudential Committee is issuing an RFP for a sealed bid to abate hazardous materials, demolish the buildings, and remove trash at two former fire station sites at 5 E. Central Ave., Onset, MA and 9 E. Central Ave., Onset, MA by qualified contractors, as defined by the provisions of the RFP. RFP may be obtained by emailing Frank Basler at fbasler@plymouthcountyma.gov beginning Friday, January 26, 2024 at 10 am. Sealed responses clearly labeled "REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FIRE STATION BUILDINGS HAZARDOUS MATERIAL ABATEMENT, BUILDING DEMOLITION, AND TRASH REMOVAL" are due on or before Thursday, March 7, 2024 at 10 am as per the RFP details. The Onset Fire District reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, to waive any defects, informalities, and minor irregularities; and to award contracts or cancel this RFP if it is in the District's best interest to do so. Onset Fire District encourages MBE and WBE firms to apply. This is a prevailing wage project.
