The City of Lawrence, the Awarding Authority, by its Department of Public Works invites sealed bids from qualified contractors for the yearly removal and replacement of approximately 25 tons of virgin Granular Activated Carbon and the removal, reactivation and replacement of approximately 23 tons of custom reactivated Granular Activated Carbon for the City of Lawrence Water Treatment Plant located at 410 Water St. in Lawrence, MA. All bidding procedures shall conform to M,G.L. 39M, c.149, 44A-L, and all bids are subject to minimum prevailing wage rates as required by M.G.L. c.149 26-27H inclusive. The work is estimated to cost 327,000.00 during a three-year contract period.
