Sealed bids for furnishing Highway Rock Salt, Solar Salt, and Liquid Calcium Chloride 32%

to the following municipalities: Andover, Bedford, Burlington, Lawrence, Lexington, Lynn, Melrose, Methuen, North Andover, North Reading, Reading, Stoneham, Wakefield, Wilmington, Winchester, and Woburn, will be received at the Office of Central Purchasing, Water Treatment Plant, 397 Lowell St., Andover, Massachusetts 01810, until the time specified below at which time the bids will be publicly opened and read. The time received will be stamped on each bid and for a consistency of time the time stamp clock in the Purchasing Office will be the determining time.

Bid Documents and bid forms may be obtained on the Central Purchasing Department webpage located at www.andoverma.gov/bids .

Bids shall be submitted in a sealed envelope stating the name of the bidder on the outside. These bids will be opened in the conference room at the Water Treatment Plant, 397 Lowell St., Andover MA.

NO SECURITY IS REQUIRED ON THIS BID.

No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of thirty (30) days after the date set for the opening thereof.

The bidding and award of this Contract will be under the provisions of M.G. L. Chapter 30B.
