Bids will be opened live on Microsoft Teams. Meeting ID and Passcode above. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid security consisting of CASH, CERTIFIED CHECK, or BID BOND issued by a responsible bank or trust company licensed to do business in the State of Massachusetts in the amount of 5% of the total bid.
No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of thirty (30) work days after the date set for the opening thereof.
Attention is directed to the minimum wage rates to be paid as determined by the Department of Labor and Workforce Development under the provisions of Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 149, Sections 26 to 27D inclusive.

A Payment Bond of an amount equal to 50 percent of the total amount of the bid with a surety company satisfactory to the Town, as surety, will be required for the payment for all labor and materials used in the work. Refer to the specifications under the section titled “Bond & Insurance” for further information. Such bond shall be prepared on a form provided by the Owner and supplied by a surety company licensed to do business in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
The Town reserves the right to accept or reject, in whole or in part, any or all bids or take whatever other action may be deemed necessary to be in the best interest of the Town.
