Bids will be opened in the 2
nd
floor Conference Room, Andover Town Offices. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid security consisting of CASH, CERTIFIED CHECK, or BID BOND issued by a responsible bank or trust company licensed to do business in the State of Massachusetts in the amount of 5% of the total bid.
A Payment Bond will be required if contract value is greater than $25,000.00
No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of thirty (30) work days after the date set for the opening thereof.
Attention is directed to the minimum wage rates to be paid as determined by the Department of Labor and Workforce Development under the provisions of Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 149, Sections 26 to 27D inclusive.
The bidding and award of this Contract will be under the provisions of M.G. L. Chapter 30, Section 39M and the provisions of M.G.L. Chapter 30, Section 39S.
