REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

AUDIT SERVICES

RFP# 138/040/24

The Town of Andover, as the awarding authority, is seeking proposals from certified public accounting firms qualified to perform municipal audits to audit the books and records of the Town for fiscal years ending June 30, 2024, 2025, and 2026 in accordance with the Single Audit Act and the requirements of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

Proposal requirements will be available beginning April 4, 2024 at 8:00am, and may be obtained from the website of the Office of the Purchasing Agent at www.andoverma.gov/bids.

Proposals must be submitted to the Town of Andover, Attn: Theresa Peznola, Purchasing Agent, 36 Bartlet Street, Andover, MA 01810. Proposals due 11:00 A.M. on May 2, 2024.

By soliciting proposals for auditing services, the Town does not intend to subject itself to the requirements of M.G.L. c.30B, which specifically exempts contracts with certified public accounts from its requirements.

The Town reserves the right to waive informalities and to reject any and all proposals if deemed in the best interest of the Town.
