The time received will be stamped on each bid and for a consistency of time, the time stamp clock in the Purchasing Office will be the determining time.

Miscellaneous Roadway Construction and Paving Projects, 12:00 PM

MASS DOT Pre-Qualification of contractors with the class of work as HIGHWAY - SIDEWALK & CURBING, for the project with an estimated value of $1,522,920.00, will be required.

Bid Documents and bid forms may be obtained on the Central Purchasing Department webpage located at www.andoverma.gov/bids .

Bids will be opened in the 2 ^nd floor Conference Room, Andover Town Offices. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid security consisting of CASH, CERTIFIED CHECK, or BID BOND issued by a responsible bank or trust company licensed to do business in the State of Massachusetts in the amount of 5% of the total bid.

No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of thirty (30) days after the date set for the opening thereof.

Attention is directed to the minimum wage rates to be paid as determined by the Department of Labor and Workforce Development under the provisions of Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 149, Sections 26 to 27D inclusive.

A bond of an amount equal to 50 percent of the total amount of the bid with a surety company satisfactory to the Town, as surety, will be required for the Payment for all labor and materials used in the work. Such bond shall be prepared on a form provided by the Owner and supplied by a surety company licensed to do business in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
