The Town of Amherst invites qualified designers to submit an application to provide planning, design and architectural/landscape architectural/engineering services: including planning updates, design, permitting, and possible future bid and construction phase services for replacement of the War Memorial Pool bathhouse located on Mattoon Street and upgrade of the surrounding area. The fee for services is not-to-exceed $200,000 to include printing and advertising and the final construction bid documents must be ready to distribute by the end of June 2024. Requests for qualifications may be obtained at www.amherstma.gov/bids .

Designer Application Forms with required certifications and registrations shall be submitted no later than 2:00 PM on Thursday, November 30, 2023, to the Town Accountant’s Office at 4 Boltwood Ave, Amherst, MA 01002. An optional pre-bid conference will be held on Thursday, November 16, 2023 at 11:00 AM at the War Memorial Pool Bathhouse located at Mattoon Street, Amherst, MA 01002.

The Town of Amherst reserves the right to reject any and all bids in whole or in part, and to waive informalities, when at its sole discretion is deemed to be in the best interests of the Town and to the extent permitted by law.
