The Town of Amherst invites sealed bids for the demolition and removal of the former VFW facility, 457 Main Street, Amherst, MA 01002. T he Specifications and Invitation for Bids may be obtained online at www.amherstma.gov/bids .

An optional project walk-thru is planned for February 7, 2024 at 10:00 am at the former VFW facility – 457 Main Street, Amherst, MA. All bidders are invited to attend.

Bids shall be submitted no later than 2:00 p.m. on February 21, 2024, to the Town of Amherst’s Accountant’s

Office where the bids will be publicly opened and recorded at that time.

Qualifications:
General Bidders must have at least five (5) years of experience and a proven track record of high-quality work on similar projects.

Firm must have three (3) references who can document his or her successful completion of projects in the State of Massachusetts.
