NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS

The Town of Acton, Massachusetts, will receive sealed bids for the following contracts:

FURNISH BITUMINOUS CONCRETE DRIVEWAY MIX
AND/OR BITUMINOUS CONCRETE BINDER MIX AT THE PLANT

CONTRACT #1/31/2024-1079

at the Acton Department of Public Works, 14 Forest Rd., Acton, Massachusetts, 01720, until 10:30 a.m. Local Time on January 31, 2024.

Specifications and bidding forms may be obtained from the Acton Highway Division ( highway@actonma.gov For security reasons, you must enable JavaScript to view this E-mail address. ) during normal working hours from January 15, 2024 until the expiration of the time for the filing of bids.

Bidding procedures are governed by Massachusetts General Laws (G. L.) Chapter (c.) 149, §44A, and G. L. c. 30, §39M, as applicable and referenced in G. L. 149.

No bidder may withdraw his bid within thirty (30) days after the date designated above for the opening of bids. The Contractor must comply with the all applicable federal, state and local law and regulations.

The Town of Acton reserves the right to reject any and all bids, and to waive any informalities, as deemed in the Town’s best interest.
