Description:

The purpose of the Work of this Contract is to stabilize the existing right (southern) bank of the North

Nashua River at 230 Commercial Road, Leominster, MA. The Site is on property owned by the City of

Leominster and is located east of the wastewater treatment plant and north of the Leominster Connector

road. A portion of the riverbank is exposed and is eroding to the south toward the 36-inch Fall Brook

Sewer Interceptor which transports approximately 25% of the City of Leominster sewage to the

wastewater treatment plant. The proposed Project will stabilize the exposed riverbank and minimize

future erosion and migration of the riverbank to the south.

Special Requirements:

There will be a mandatory pre-bid meeting held at the Site, which is at 230 Commercial Road, Leominster, Massachusetts 01453 at 10:00 AM on March 13, 2023. During this meeting, potential bidders will have an opportunity to visit and examine the work site. Potential bidders may request an appointment to make
further examination of the facilities by contacting Mark Piermarini of the City of Leominster at (978) 534-7590. Appointments will be scheduled at the sole convenience of the Owner.

Prevailing Wages will be posted at a later date, and added via addendum.
