Qualifications:
Proposers must have prior experience / involvement with FEMA on the behalf of local government agencies dealing with Major Disaster Declarations and resulting Public Assistance Grants. The firm to be hired should be well versed in the following:
1. All the FEMA processes related to such disasters / grants.
2. Be able to successfully guide the City through the FEMA recovery process for declared disasters.
3. Have a successful track record with FEMA’s Public Assistance Program.
- Full understanding of the Stafford Act and how it would apply to this project.
- Full understanding of the Code of Federal Regulations CFR 44
- Full understanding of and working with the FEMA 9500 Series.
