This is a Sources Sought/Request for Information (RFI) for a Radio Fire Alarm Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (RFA IDIQ) Contract at Hanscom Air Force Base (AFB). Hanscom AFB anticipates awarding one (1) Firm-Fixed Price IDIQ Construction Contract under North American Classification System (NAICS) 238210 with the size standard of $19M. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this synopsis or any follow up information requests. Respondents will not be notified of the results of the evaluation. THIS IS NOT A SOLCITATION FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED FROM THIS SYNOPSIS.

The purpose of this Sources Sought/RFI is to conduct market research for planning purposes to determine if responsible sources exist and to assist in determining if this effort can be competitive. This sources sought/RFI is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation, or ultimately award a contract.

The general scope of the prospective Contract is for the Contractors to provide all management, labor, material, equipment, transportation, supervision, and required design services to install and commission a complete radio fire alarm equipment throughout the entirety of Hanscom Air Force Base (HAFB), MA. The Government intends to establish one (1) Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for Radio Fire Alarm requirements. Requirements of this contract shall be achieved through the implementation of Task Orders issued under the terms of the IDIQ contract for all of the herein described tasks or additional tasks described in specific Task Orders. Contractor offers will be evaluated utilizing a Price-based evaluation, use of price as the only evaluation factor is the most advantageous approach to the government.
