The General Services Administration (GSA), Public Buildings Service (PBS) New England Region, Acquisition Management Division intends to hire a construction contractor to complete demolition of the Hoosac Stores building at the Charlestown Navy Yard in Boston, MA including site preparation and removal of materials. The site is owned by the National Parks Service. The specifications for the demolition will be compatible with the City of Boston Ordinance on restriction of noise generation during construction in a dense urban setting. Demolition activities would be scheduled to occur in a period of lower visitation such as November to April.
This procurement is a 100% total small business set-aside.
The estimated cost is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000.

A site visit will be held on December 7th, 2023 (See Volume II of the solicitation for specifics). RFI Questions are due December 15th, 2023. Technical documents will be available through sam.gov. The proposal due date is January 12th, 2024, at 2:00PM EST. Offerors are responsible for printing the RFP and all related documents. It is also the offeror’s responsibility to monitor this site for release of the RFP, amendments and any related information.
