The US Government is seeking a potential offeror who can manufacture the Modular Extendable Rigid Wall Shelter (MERWS) panel kits as outlined in part number 17-3-5335-1, package the final components into a government provided container per provided packing instruction (17-1-4809 and TM 10-5411 -221 -14&P) and ship to the government upon completion. This is NOT for full production of the MERWS but only sub-components and does not include the ISO Shelter. When these kits are combined with the Army Standard Family International Standards Organization (ASF ISO) Shelters they provide a mobile, environmentally controlled workspace used for applications such as tactical operations centers, command posts, medical facilities, etc. It is essential the potential offeror have an understanding of specification ASTM E1978-18 for the manufacuting of the bonded panels and have expertise in manufacturing aluminum-faced, nonmetallic honeycomb sandwich panels. The primary place of performance for this work will be the potential contractor's facilities.
