Notice of Intent for Tyco ExacqVision video surveillance system
Under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers intends to require, on a sole source basis, Tyco ExacqVision video surveillance system components for the TIER 3 replacement, Main Computer Room (MCR) at the Veterans Affairs (VA), Boston Healthcare System (VA BHS), Jamaica Plain Campus, located at 150 S. Huntington Ave., Boston, MA.
This project is an upgrade to the existing Tyco ExacqVision video surveillance system. All security video devices associated with the project must be fully integratable into the existing video management system.
The project scope includes the upgrade of video surveillance equipment to an existing video surveillance system. For the components of the video surveillance system to connect seamlessly to the existing system, the hardware and software must be from the same manufacturer. Installation of any other video surveillance system could result in the inability to manage and monitor cameras from a single interface.
THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. It is a market research tool being used to determine the availability of other qualified sources that can meet the requirements identified above and inherent with the referenced Advantor security reporting system. The Government is not obligated to and will not pay for any information received from potential sources as a result of this notice of intent. All responses received within 15 days of the posting of this notice of intent will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government to require the brand name for the Tyco ExacqVision video surveillance system is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purposes of determining whether to allow alternate system manufacturers.
Submit responses to this notice of intent shall be submitted by November 28, 2022, 2:00 PM EST via email to Elizabeth.k.glasgow@usace.army.mil (list W912WJ23X0009 – [name of product] in the subject line of the email).
