Sealed Bids for the construction of the “South Street, Pochassic Street, Ponders Hollow Ejector Pump Station Replacements” will be received by the Purchasing Director at the City Hall, Purchasing Department, 59 Court Street, Westfield, MA 01085, until 2:00 p.m. local time on October 26, 2022 at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. Sealed Bids from Subcontractors addressed as referenced above will be received by the Purchasing Director at the City Hall, Purchasing Department, 59 Court Street, Westfield, MA 01085, until 2:00 p.m. local time on October 18, 2022 and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud. Sub-Bids with the required Bid deposit will be received for the following items of work:

The work consists of demolishing 3 existing pneumatic ejector sewer pump stations and ancillary equipment; installing approximately 60 linear feet of 4-inch PVC of gravity sewer, 3 grinder pump stations, installing approximately 720 linear feet of 1-¾-inch HDPE low pressure sewer through existing force mains and open cut methods, 2 low pressure sewer terminal cleanout manholes; installing 3 yard hydrants; installing all associated electrical equipment including but not limited to: circuit breakers, utility meters, generator receptacles, manual transfer switches, pump control panels, mission control panels, panelboards, and all electrical conduit; restoring site features including but not limited to: bollards, shrubs, loam and seed, bituminous driveways and bump outs, and bituminous berm. Bids shall be on a lump sum basis.
All Bids for this project are subject to the provisions of Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 149, Section 44A - 44J inclusive as amended.
