It is the intention of the Department to arrange for the purchase of a twelve (12) month requirement of Sodium Chloride beginning at the award of one or more of the proposals received in response to this bid invitation. The Department is representing a Cooperative composed of the Towns of Dedham, Dover, Wellesley, Weston and Westwood. The Department estimates that the Cooperative’s purchases during the twelve (12) month period will be in the order of 16,000 +/- tons, but the obligations incurred by the acceptance of any bid is limited to the purchase of the actual requirements.
