The Boston Housing Authority (“BHA”) seeks proposals for creation of a decarbonization plan as well as associated technical assistance. The BHA and City of Boston have established an ambitious Fossil Free Public Housing target for 2030 and the BHA aims to achieve full electrification by that date or the earliest technically feasible year. The decarbonization plan must also facilitate the BHA to meeting or exceeding relevant City of Boston emissions requirements, including the Building Energy Reporting and Disclosure Ordinance (BERDO 2.0) and other relevant climate action targets by 2030. The estimated value of this project for one (1) period is $106,250.00.
Proposers responding to this RFP shall submit one original (1) paper copy of their Proposal to: BHA Contract Office, Joel Wool, Chief Procurement Officer, 56 Chauncy Street (Housing Service Center), Boston, MA 02111, on or before Wednesday April 12, 2023, no later than 2:00 p.m., by mail or hand delivery. Proposal shall be in a sealed envelope marked with the Proposer’s name, address and telephone number. In addition to the hard copies of the proposal, Proposers shall provide one (1) electronic copy of the non‐fee portion of their proposal on USB media. This submission should be a single file in Adobe PDF format. Proposers shall submit the fee and non‐fee portions of their proposal under separate cover. The BHA will hold a bidders’ conference virtually on Monday March 20 ^th , 2023 at 2:00 PM. Register for the bidders’ conference at https://tinyurl.com/2133bidconf . Questions or requests for modifications regarding this RFP will be accepted in writing or by email only until 2:00 p.m. on 03/27/2023 and must be submitted to Joel Wool, Chief Procurement Officer, Boston Housing Authority, 52 Chauncy St., 6th FL, Boston, MA 02111 or via email bids@bostonhousing.org. The BHA reserves the right to reject any proposals and waive any informalities if it be in the public interest to do so.
