Town of Andover, MA (Owner) invites sealed Bids for Phase 1 Water Transmission Main Improvements, DWSRF #6978 for installing cement lined ductile iron water mains on Argilla Road and Andover Street to replace existing cast iron water mains, valves, hydrants, and water services. Substantial Completion: 11/15/2023. Final Completion: 06/30/2024. Bidding is per MGL Chapter 30 s39M. Prevailing wage rates per MGL c149 s26 to 27D inclusive issued by Dept. of Labor Standards & Federal Davis-Bacon rates apply.

A bid security in the amount of 5% of the total bid will be required.

Project Funding: in part through Drinking State Revolving Fund (SRF) & Massachusetts Clean Water Trust. Compliance required with: EPA, MassDEP/DMS provisions & policies, Davis-Bacon Act & wage requirements, & AIS/BABA Act. Certified DBE participation goals: minimum 4.20% D/MBE & 4.50% D/WBE applicable to total dollars paid under resulting Contract.
