Invitation for Bids No. 23-064; Price Agreement: Firearms and Ammunition for Police Duty & Training Requesting Department: Springfield Police Department Bids will be received until 2:00 PM EST: November 7, 2022 by: The Office of Procurement Lauren Stabilo, Chief Procurement Officer 36 Court Street, Room 307, Springfield MA 01103 Phone (413) 787-6285 FAX 787-6295 at which time the bids will be publicly opened and read. Bid documents and specifications will be available at no charge beginning October 24, 2022, at the Office of Procurement from 9:00 A.M. to 4:30 P.M., or through the City’s website; www.springfieldcityhall.com. Please refer to the bid number and opening date when requesting. The supplies included in this bid will fall under M.G.L. Ch. 30B and other procurement statutes. The Office of Procurement is soliciting bids for a qualified vendor to establish prices to supply, and deliver duty and training ammunition for the Springfield Police Department. These supplies are strictly for the use of authorized law enforcement personnel. The City intends to award One (1) potential contract to the lowest responsible and eligible bidder. The estimated value of the contract shall not exceed $200,000.00 per year. The initial term of this contract will be for One (1) year, but will include Two (2) one-year in length renewal options, to be exercised at the City’s sole discretion. All questions regarding bid or its specifications must be received in writing by the Office of Procurement (nwalker@springfieldcityhall.com) by October 28, 2022 at 4:30 P.M. The City of Springfield goal of twenty (20%) MWBE participation applies. The Office of Procurement reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
